what pet plan insurance pay the full vet bill ,where we dont have to pay the first so much up front?

ive got a puppy and want to get it insured ,UK ONLY….but ive heard some insurance company’s make you pay some upfront ..i want a policy that they pay all the vet bill no matter what …do you know any one that does this thank you

There is none…they all require an excess to be paid up front. You best start a savings account with enough for a couple of excess fees in there.

ALL insurance companies will have an excess as part of their policy, it’s to stop the frivolous claims for very minor things. They are there to pay for the bigger bills, and none of them will pay for routine injections etc. It’s the same no matter what you insure, or insure against. Stops them having to deal with claims for things that cost £5 all the time.

most dog vets seem to want the money from you & then you reclaim it from insurers .Ask around for a decent vet too .some of them charge a lot more than others .We now use a fantastic vet ,they are 30 miles away but its cheaper to put my dog in a taxi than use the vet that’s 10 min walk away .
