my 7 month old puppy got the first of her 2 lime disease vacinations about 5 weeks ago and then her second yesterday today i found a tick on her that was pretty big? what should i look for or should i take her for a blood test?
If she did get lyme disease a red ring type rash would appear around where the tick bit her…but that could be hard to see depending on her coat. Two vacinations should be good, and lyme disease does not always occur 100% of the time. If you see any kind of rash, or she chews in that spot or acts different then take her to the vet, otherwise she should be good.
