Do NOT buy animals because they look cute. Introduce new family members because you understand, and accept them. Getting a Westie as a show dog, or other investment would justify insurance. A good breeder will tell you all the things you need to know, what to buy, where to get insurance, where to go for training, what food to feed, how to housetrain and everything else.. Check Westie Rescue in your area, contact the Canadian Kennel Club and ask them for numbers for Rescue in your area.
