need to get any different vacinations for my Chihuahua for the East than for the West? I heard that anywhere East of Texas needs Heartworm meds, is this correct?
Any other advice for my pup traveling 4000 miles?

In the west coast we don’t have to give heart worm meds, though. I had to give him them for 5 months after he arrived from Texas.

EVERY dog needs to be on heartworm meds no matter where he lives…Please have him checked by a vet and see if they recommend any addition vaccinations for parvo etc…The southern states are a breeding ground for parvo and corona…
