what is the minimum wait for a dog to travel after all its vacinations and being chipped
When you get the vaccines from the vet they will tell you..or you can call ahead and ask them.
My only advice is to ask the vet what vaccines need to be done. While doing my vet assistant field placement (co-op) a person came in to get vaccines for a dog tehy were taking to europe and there was some special procedure and paper work that was needed.

it varies, sometimes they have to quarantine the dog and that can take up to 6 months if they do (generally bringing a animal into a country they do this to make sure it is not bringing in any diseases or is rabid) be prepared to not see your dog for a long time.

The UK has very strict import laws with regards to pets. You have to do at least 6 months of work with you vet to get your dog ready so you can avoid quarantine. This includes getting a microchip, rabies shots, and other pest control measures. If you do not do anything, your dog will have to be in quarantine for at least 6 months.
