Its really annoying! There is no "x" in the corner of the ad to close it out.. It just stays hovered over the "answer" button and I can’t answer anything!! How stupid is this?
OMG i thought it was just me. i even keep messing with the pop up blocker. i hope you find the answer. so i can use it.

I’ve just been rolling over it and it goes back on the right side.You have to do it twice.

I use Firefox with Adblock so it’s not too bothersome. At least, it doesn’t hover and block the screen.

I know what you mean! It happened to me right now when I was going to answer your question! I clicked on learn more then when the page was loading I clicked on the back arrow. Well, I hope it works for you!

I know – and it’s not just in this area of Answers, either, I’ve seen lots of complaints about it. If you hover over the ad for a second with your mouse it will close. Or right click and select "Refresh" and that tends to close it as well.
I find it rather amusing how Yahoo is so quick to send "Violation Notices" to people when no violation has been made but they can’t fix this stupid ad. But then again, maybe it’s SUPPOSED to get in the way like that so we see it. Either way, it sucks.

Scroll over the add and it will go away (sometimes you have to do it a couple times)
