In the last year I have been handicapped from a car wreck and widowed at 48, where can I find financial help?
May 12, 2005, I was involved in a one car accident that left me with 2 broken legs, my right leg severely broken. I cannot drive yet. In August of 2005 I unexpectedly lost my beloved husband of almost 29 years to a pulmonary embolism. He went fast. With the little life insurance money, I buried him and paid some bills, (lots of medical bills left). I put $10,000 down on a doublewide mobile home and yesterday, (3/28/06) it caught on fire when we turned on the electricity. I don’t know yet if they will get me a new home or not, but all my money is gone and I am in need of financial help. Where can I get it. I am too young to draw my husband’s social security and am not disabled enough to get disability. Please help me!!

first of all you need a lawyer~! TAC are bastards and yes its like getting blood from a stone.. BUT the stone does bleed ;)
secondly you need to get online and do a search…. there are so many support charities out there… u just have to find the right network for your circumstance…
and thirdly… a broken leg shouldnt stop you from working, you should be on light duties at work… assuming youre in australia? and as for medical bills…. doctors are bastards… ive said it before and ill say it again! i never pay for medical imaging or anything like that! you simply ask and they bulk bill~! the fact that the docs didnt for you…. well.. bastards!
i dont know what your work situation is… but id assume youre on some kind of leave from work… your options are… look online for support groups…. and perhaps see if there is some kind of work you can do from home… good luck with it all… im truly sorry to hear about your husband… best wishes…
